About JitsArt
JitsArt was founded in 1959 by the artist Jits Bakker. Since 2009, his son Tibo van de Zand has been the official co-director, and since 2014, he assumed responsibility of owner and director. As an artist duo, father and son worked for years on various projects in the Netherlands and abroad. They worked in studios in, among others, the Bilt, the Ardennes and Andalusia. From the historic studio “De Kooi”, the adjoining sculpture labyrinth and the studio in southern Spain, the activities of JitsArt continue to this day.

Purchase
Jits Bakker was active as a versatile artist for more than fifty years, in his studios at home and abroad. From the historic studio in de Bilt, it is possible to purchase various special works. Please contact us if you are interested in viewing the art collection.
Restoration and maintenance
If there is any damage to an artwork, you can contact us to have the artwork restored to its original state. JitsArt also carries out all kinds of maintenance on the artworks of Jits Bakker. Please contact us for any assistance with restoration or maintenance.
